A Dallas police officer in on administrative leave following his arrest in Houston on Monday. Officer Dekoven Joshlin turned himself in to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for a misdemeanor harassment warrant issued by the Houston Police. Joshlin has worked for the Dallas Police since 2018, and is assigned to the Northwest Patrol Division. Details of the charge against him haven’t been released.

On October 6, 2025, Officer Dekoven Joshlin, #11528, turned himself into the Harris County Sheriff’s Department for a warrant out of the Houston Police Department for Harassment, a Class B Misdemeanor. Officer Joshlin has been a member of the Department since May 2018 and is assigned to the Northwest Patrol Division.
