Sweden are through to the quarter-finals of the European Volleyball Championship after a 3-0 win in sets against the host country Czech Republic. Now they face world champion Italy in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
The Czech volleyball team will face Sweden in the round of 16 of the European Championship on Monday, August 31, at 7:00 PM. The national team advanced to the knockout stage from second place in Group B, while the Swedes advanced from third place in Group D. The winner of this match will face the better of the pair Italy and Bulgaria in the quarterfinals.
