Cyprus inflation rises in April on higher fuel prices

Inflation in Cyprus continued to climb in April, driven mainly by rising fuel costs, the Statistics Service say. The Consumer Price Index showed annual inflation at 2.8%. The sharpest increases compared with April 2025 were recorded in: • Petroleum products: +18.3% • Agricultural goods: +9.6% • Transport: +8.2% • Clothing and footwear: +5.2% • Food and non‑alcoholic beverages: +4.8% Electricity and water prices fell 7.9%, the data showed.
