- The boy fell from a fourth-floor window at a Paphos resort hotel earlier this month during the family's vacation, while the defendant's wife and other son, aged 5, departed for the United Kingdom last week.
- Previously, the Court released the defendant from detention on condition he post a 20,000-euro bond and surrender his passport, with weekly police check-ins required.
- Lawyer Alexandros Alexandrou said the travel authorization expires Sept. 15, when the 37-year-old must return to Cyprus to answer charges or face a European arrest warrant.
- Alexandrou took over the defense last week after the previous attorney withdrew, requesting more time to review evidence before court proceedings resume Sept. 16.
