Curtis Hitt Appointed as District Judge in Northeast Arkansas

Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday announced the appointment of Curtis Hitt as 17th Judicial District Court judge. The 17th District is composed of Clay and Greene Counties. Hitt’s appointment takes effect Jan. 1. He replaces Judge Dan Troy Stidham, who is retiring after 25 years on the bench. Hitt has been an attorney for 28 years.
