Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, arrived in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in the early morning of this Sunday, to take part in the XVII BRICS Summit that will meet on July 6 and 7.
This is the second time that the Cuban dignitary takes part as head of state in a summit of this kind; and this is the first time that the Major of the Antilles attends the important meeting as a Partner Country of the BRICS
