Crypto data firm Kaiko secures $110 million funding round led by S&P Global
The Series B-2 extension will help Kaiko expand its product offering and data business as more than 250 firms use its services.
- On Monday, New York-based crypto data provider Kaiko announced it raised $110 million in a funding round led by S&P Global, with additional investors including Nasdaq and BNP Paribas.
- S&P Global Ventures led the investment to deepen an existing strategic alliance with Kaiko, positioning the firm as a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized markets.
- Following acquisitions of Amberdata and Cometh, Kaiko will use the funds to strengthen its data business and expand product offerings covering more than 150 exchanges and crypto protocols.
- In early September, the partnership launched the S&P Kaiko Digital Asset Indices suite, purpose-built for global, 24/7 digital asset markets.
- Kaiko CEO Ambre Soubiran called the investment a "powerful endorsement" of the firm's mission as financial institutions increasingly explore "tokenisation" of mainstream assets.
