Cruise ship hit by hantavirus outbreak arrives in Tenerife
Health officials are evacuating nearly 150 passengers and crew after six confirmed cases and three deaths, while remaining travelers face quarantine and repatriation.
- The cruise ship MV Hondius docked in Tenerife on Sunday, May 10, 2026, as Spanish officials began the evacuation process and boarded the vessel for final health checks before disembarking passengers.
