- On December 16, 2025 Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Jordan Museum in Amman, driven there by Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II at His Majesty King Abdullah II's invitation.
- At the invitation of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, Modi's two-day visit on December 15 coincided with India-Jordan 75 years of diplomatic relations and pursued enhanced cooperation across political, economic, defence, security, cultural and educational fields.
- Built to trace the region's civilisational journey, the Jordan Museum showcases ancient animal bones and the Ain Ghazal lime plaster statues, considered among the world's oldest.
- They welcomed the Jordan-India Business Forum on 16 December 2025 and signed an MoU on Technical Cooperation in New and Renewable Energy for personnel exchanges and joint projects.
- Looking ahead, both sides agreed the fifth round of political consultations will be held in New Delhi, as Modi's four-day, three-nation tour highlights bilateral trade valued at USD 2.3 billion for 2024, making India Jordan's third largest trading partner.
