L to R: Bishop Andrew Cozzens of Crookston, Minnesota; Sister Annella Zervas entered the Order of St. Benedict in St. Joseph at age 15 in August 1915. She made her perpetual vows in 1922 and worked as a music teacher until a peculiar skin disease eventually made it impossible. It’s the first sainthood cause to be opened in the northerly Minnesota diocese.
