The fourth hearing in the case concerning the fire at the Ravive Cosmetics factory in Dilovası, Kocaeli, which claimed the lives of seven workers, including three children, will be held today. The case against public officials, which has been merged with the main case in which the factory owners and managers are being tried, will also be addressed for the first time.
The fourth hearing has begun in the trial of 23 defendants, including company and municipal officials, 10 of whom are in custody and 1 is a fugitive, regarding the fire at a cosmetics factory in Dilovası district of Kocaeli, which killed 7 people and injured 6.
In a statement made before the 4th hearing of the Dilovası Massacre trial, the demand for justice was reiterated.
In the tragedy at the factory, which was found to be operating without a license and illegally, and in which 7 workers, including 3 children, lost their lives, public officials responsible for the inspection are being prosecuted for the first time. The families who lost loved ones are demanding that the investigation be extended to the relevant ministries.
