- Reaggle had received the 12-month sentence for charges stemming from a February 14, 2025, incident in St Clair Township, during which he was accused of assaulting three people.
- Video footage shows Reaggle punching bailiff Keith Thorn and colliding with bailiff Steve Boyd before Deputy Sheriff Nick Rusyn used a Taser to subdue him near the courthouse security station.
- Sheriff Brian McLaughlin reported that both Thorn and Boyd suffered broken bones during the attack and required hospital treatment, while Reaggle remains detained in the Columbiana County Jail.
