CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person died and two firefighters were injured from a two-alarm fire at a south Charlotte apartment complex on Sunday afternoon. Just before 11:45 a.m., firefighters were called to The Crossing at Quail Hollow Apartments off Park Road. That complex is adjacent to South Mecklenburg High School.
