At approximately 3 p.m. on November 29, units from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Abingdon Fire Company responded to a crash in the 1600-block of Edgewood Road. Firefighters rescued one patient through the vehicle’s windshield. The roadway remains shut down due to a downed utility pole. Motorists should use an alternate route.
