Crash on Route 8 South in Naugatuck causes significant traffic delays
Route 8 South was closed in Naugatuck Thursday afternoon because of a serious crash. There were injuries reported, according to state police. The crash happened near exit 25B in Naugatuck. Naugatuck police said traffic being diverted off Route 8 was causing significant congestion in the areas of Bridge Street and North Church Street. Route 8 has since reopened.
