On 11 September 1968, the aircraft carrying 89 passengers and six crew members crashed at sea a few kilometres from Cape Antibes. 57 years after the disaster, elements of the aircraft's tail and two probable engines were discovered during dives last October.
The numerous pieces identified should help to understand the causes of the crash which had caused 95 deaths in 1968. Family lawyers praised "a major step forward".
