The trial about the devastating gas explosion in an apartment building on Boerenkrijglaan in 2021 will start in the criminal court of Turnhout on Wednesday. Five defendants, including retail chain Vanden Borre, will have to answer for themselves. Four people died in the disaster on New Year's Eve 2021.
