Court Declines to Hear Appeal in Jersey City’s School Funding Lawsuit

In October, after more than six years of litigation, the New Jersey Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal in a lawsuit the Jersey City Board of Education filed against New Jersey over a 2018 law that caused drastic cuts to state aid for the Jersey City Public Schools (JCPS), the Jersey City Times has learned.
