County, town agencies discuss traffic camera system

WAYNE — Several county agencies and municipalities are in discussions to work together to purchase solar-powered traffic cameras with artificial intelligence technology. The Flock Safety company's AI cameras were discussed during the Wayne County Commission's Dec. 15 regular meeting and the Kenova City Council's Dec. 18 regular meeting. Officials from several departments have been working to get funding for at least eight cameras in total.
