Powhatan Planning Commission denies recommendation for motorsport park permit

The Powhatan County Planning Commission has voted against a controversial motorsport park. The owners of Throttle Therapy say it’d be a safe, private place for families to ride dirt bikes and ATVs on more than 700 acres off Rocky Ford Road. But the Planning Commission is not recommending its permit to the Board of Supervisors, which'll have final say later this month.
