Council passes residency requirement for chiefs

The Ironton City Council voted on Thursday to make it official that the police and fire chiefs have to live in one of four Ohio counties. The issue came up after three police captains, Brian Pauley, Chad Gue and Steve Wilson, took a civil service commission to see which one would be the next police chief.
