Two unanimous votes of Gonzales’ City Council were cast amid a contentious deliberation over a four-day work week on Monday.  Mayor Tim Riley’s recommendation to hire Rusievelt Vessel as Public Works Director was approved.  Riley’s recommendation for Chief Building Official, Eric Achord also received a unanimous vote.
