Cougar spotted in Gresham, days after another was euthanized

Gresham police are warning residents to be on the lookout for a cougar roaming the city, just days after a different cougar found injured in the northern part of the city was euthanized.

Cougar spotted in Gresham late Wednesday night near Springwater Trail High School. Police saw the big cat in a tree, notified Oregon State Police, and urged vigilance. It is the city’s second cougar sighting this week.
