Cougar baseball loses 4-3 in series deciding matchup at Texas State

The WSU bats were not able to pick up the pitchers Sunday morning, resulting in a 4-3 loss to Texas State. The Cougs are now 6-9 heading into conference play. The Cougars had their chances but could not capitalize on them. Texas State starter Jesus Tovar threw six innings of one-run ball giving up four hits, three walks and tallying seven strikeouts.
