Gloucestershire Police Seek Witnesses After A429 Motorbike-Car Collision
A man in his 20s was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, and police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage.
- On Saturday, April 25, a "serious" two-vehicle collision occurred on the A429 Fosseway in Stow-on-the-Wold at 4:15pm, involving a silver Triumph Trident motorbike and a blue Volkswagen Polo.
- The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry for treatment of "serious injuries" and remains hospitalized as of Sunday.
- Traffic-Monitoring site Inrix reported the A429 was closed in both directions between Donnington Lane at Donnington and the A424 Evesham Road, remaining sealed until early Sunday morning.
- Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact the force. "Information can be submitted to police by quoting incident 314 of 25 April."
- Following overnight investigation work, the route was cleared shortly after 8am on Sunday as police continue to urge potential witnesses to come forward with information.
