Conwy County Borough Council has issued a tender to appoint an experienced cost consultant for a major capital project at Venue Cymru in Llandudno. The contract, valued at £300,000, will support the delivery of a significant redevelopment scheme at the popular arts and conference venue, with the appointed consultant expected to play a key role in cost planning and financial management throughout the project lifecycle. The procurement forms part of a wider programme, with a separate exercise currently underway to appoint an integrated design team. That appointment is expected to be finalised in mid-February 2026, with design work scheduled to begin in early March under a short RIBA Stage 1.
