Coroner recommends doctor for investigation after inquest into NSW hospital death

Summary by Ground News
Maureen Smith was admitted to Glen Innes District Hospital on March 31. The 75-year-old was suffering from sepsis in her right knee. She spent the night in the hospital, which delayed the start of antibiotic treatment. Ms Smith died soon after arriving at Armidale Hospital the following morning. Magistrate Harriet Grahame found there were "systemic errors in the management" of Ms Smith's condition.
