JACKSON — Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard has identified three people killed in separate pedestrian-involved traffic crashes over a two-day period in the Jackson area. On June 29, Jeffery Bennett, 54, of Jackson, was struck and killed in a pedestrian-versus-vehicle crash at Highway 80 and Valley. Authorities said the driver stopped and remained on scene.
