India logs 2,858 fresh Covid-19 cases in 24 hours; Delhi records 899 new infections

India recorded 2,858 fresh Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total active caseload in the country to 18,096. Delhi contributed to nearly 32% of the fresh infections with 899 new cases in the last 24 hours.

India adds 2,858 COVID-19 cases

The active cases comprise 0.04 per cent of the total infections. The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.74 per cent, the ministry said.
