In 2027, the Junta de Andalucía will launch two new infanto-juvenil mental health hospitalization units to complete a network that will have at least one specialized center in each province. The new devices, which allow differentiated and specific care for cases such as eating disorders, will be located in Huelva and in Córdoba, as announced by the Health Councillor, Antonio Sanz, during an appearance in the parliamentary committee.
