The European Swimming Championships are being held in Paris this week. Follow the developments of all the Dutch swimmers live here. In the morning session, Tes Schouten competed in the heats of the 200-meter breaststroke. In the evening, there are renewed medal chances for Marrit Steenbergen and Caspar Corbeau, among others.
The 24-year-old Dutch swimmer takes his second medal at the European Long Course Championships in Paris. He also won silver with the mixed relay team in the 4x100 meter freestyle.
Marrit Steenbergen can add another medal to her collection at the European Long Course Swimming Championships in Paris. The 26-year-old Dutch swimmer took silver in the 200-meter freestyle. Steenbergen was overtaken in the final meters by the Czech Barbora Seemanová: 1:54.38 to 1:54.65.
Marrit Steenbergen narrowly missed out on a medal in the 50-meter backstroke at the European Swimming Championships. The 26-year-old Dutch swimmer finished in 27.16 seconds, falling just one hundredth of a second short of bronze.
