Cooper-Standard: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
The auto parts supplier said sales rose 2.2% to $721.3 million and reported $118.4 million in new business awards.
On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, Northville-based Cooper Standard reported second quarter sales of $721.3 million, up 2.2% year-over-year, but posted a net loss of $18.8 million.
Restructuring charges totaled $17.1 million in the second quarter of 2026, compared to $2.9 million in the prior year period, which reported a net loss of $1.4 million.
"Our teams are continuing to operate at world-class levels," CEO Jeffrey Edwards said. Cooper Standard secured $118.4 million in net new business awards, including $36.6 million for battery electric or full-hybrid platforms.
Free cash flow reached $16.3 million in the quarter, while total liquidity stood at $294.2 million at period end, demonstrating progress toward sustained financial improvements.
Cooper Standard reaffirmed its full-year revenue outlook of $2.7 billion to $2.9 billion and believes it remains on track to achieve results aligned with its original 2026 business plan.
