We go on a family vacation about once every decade, and each time we return from one, we remember why that schedule is kept. Since we had not gone on a cruise since our grandson Jasper was a year old, and he is now ten, we decided we were substantially recuperated enough from the last family adventure to try another one. We decided we would give everyone an Alaska cruise as a Christmas present....
