A Conway-area man died in a house fire on Sunday morning, Dec. 14. The victim was identified as 51-year-old Christopher Oliver in a news release from Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.

House Fire Claims Life Of 51-Year-Old Man

An Horry County house fire resulted in the death of one person. The flames broke out around 7:30am Sunday in the 200 block of Oak Street in Conway. The road between Medlin Parkway and Cultura Road was shut down while crews worked the scene. The blaze was under control by about 8:20am. The resident was identified as 51-year-old Christopher Olive who did not survive. The fire is now under investigation.
