Contractor walks away from M6 after sinkholes derail project

All work will cease indefinitely on the M6 motorway in Sydney’s south, after the contractors advised Transport for NSW the contract on the $3.1 billion project had been “terminated” because of ground conditions that “could not have been anticipated by anyone”.
