Construction expected on portion of Coquihalla Highway until Halloween

Bridge construction will impact traffic on a portion of the Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5) over the next six months. According to an alert from Drive BC, construction between exits 286 and 290 in Merritt will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction from May 1 until Oct. 31.
