Conshohocken receives state grant towards potential road diet on Fayette Street
Since 2016, Conshohocken’s borough council has studied a potential road diet for a portion of Fayette Street to help calm traffic. As presented, the road diet would reduce a significant portion of Fayette Street to two lanes plus a turning lane. To move forward, the council must vote to approve a road diet plan, and PennDOT must approve any changes to Fayette Street, a state road.
