Prevention, key to protecting forests from forest fires On August 18th, World Forest Fire Prevention Day, a date dedicated to promoting ecosystem care and reducing behaviours that can lead to an emergency, is being broadcast.Although there is no record of its being officially proclaimed by the UN or another international body, the commemoration seeks to remember that prevention is a shared responsibility.
