Connecticut farm worker is paralyzed after being attacked by a bull

  • A man in Harwinton, CT was seriously injured after being attacked by a bull while putting cows back in a barn. The man, Randy Jaquins, suffered a broken neck and is currently paralyzed from the waist down. He was hospitalized and had to have his neck fused.
  • The bull was in heat at the time of the attack, as it is the mating season. Jaquins' sister, Ellen Hull, stated that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
  • Hull has set up a GoFundMe to help with Jaquins' recovery expenses, with a goal of $50,000. It is unclear how long Jaquins will need to stay in the hospital.
