Congressional candidate ‘delinquent’ on taxes in another state

Summary by WGN 9
Former Illinois businessman Paul Bondar, who is running to unseat incumbent Rep. Tom Cole in the Republican primary for Oklahoma’s 4th Congressional District, was delinquent in paying nearly $15,000 in Cook County property tax on a home he owns in southwest suburban Lemont. Bondar claimed to have paid all his taxes and denied the existence of the balance, but records show a payment was made following his conversation with WGN.
