President Dina Boluarte has signed a decree increasing her salary from 16,000 soles (3,832 euros) to 35,568 soles (8,519 euros), that is, she herself has authorized an increase of 125% of her salary per month, thus exceeding the Peruvian minimum salary 30 times. The president does so in the midst of criticism and a disapproval that exceeds 90%.
