Congo needs $2.25 billion in humanitarian aid by 2023
The humanitarian needs of around 10 million Congolese are $2.25 billion this year. This was announced by the United Nations Humanitarian Office, Ocha, and the Congolese government on Wednesday. This amount should benefit the “critical needs” of people “affected by conflicts, epidemics and natural disasters”, especially in the east of the country.
