Opposition political parties warned that eliminating or reducing their public funding, as proposed for electoral reform, would allow the entry of money from organized crime; while Morena said that the aim is to end partisan privileges.The General Council of the National Electoral Institute (INE) approved the budget that the parties will have in 2026, amounting to 737 million 252 thousand 697 pesos.
