Conductor from Lithuania turns slums in Liepāja into a concert hall

One of the officers' dwellings built during Tsarist Russia in Liepaja, Karosta, which had been lowered to the state of slum, has now been restored, and a chamber music hall has been installed on one of its wings. This happened thanks to the choral conductor from Lithuania, who got to know Liepaja during several decades of cooperation with the choirs of this city and their leaders.
