Concordia Parish buck for Phillip
Phillip Hammond, 9, of Vidalia killed this 10-point buck on Dec. 29 in northern Concordia Parish. Phillip was accompanied by his grandfather, Vance Cross. The kill was with a Browning 308 from a stand on Rota Quinta Plantation near Clayton. The deer was approximately 5 years old, he weighed 212 pounds and scored 151.
