Companies in Carshalton, Esher and Roehampton have been named and shamed by HMRC today for failing to pay their tax.
HM Revenue and Customs has published details of 109 cases from across the UK, with penalties totalling over £70 million. In each case, HMRC says the taxpayer failed to fully disclose their default at the outset of an investigation. Those named include a Papa John’s pizza franchise in Wrythe Lane in Carshalton which owed £290,875.72 between April 2011 and 2020.
