Inflation in Bulgaria is projected to rise ahead of the country’s euro adoption, as indicated in the Ministry of Finance’s latest spring Macroeconomic Forecast. The anticipated increase is largely driven by higher prices for services and food.
Companies continue to be pressured by the gray economy, a shortage of workers, high taxes, and they expect inflation to rise
"Small businesses are distinguished by their extremely positive attitude towards public administration, while micro, medium and large ones express a significantly lower level of satisfaction. The perception is most favorable in the northern and central part of the country, while the south has the lowest rating, the ratings of all three regions remain below the satisfactory value", according to the PKCG survey.
