Community-centred connectivity initiatives emerge and evolve in diverse ways around the world, shaped by local needs, desires and opportunities – together with the cultural, socioeconomic and political backgrounds of the communities they serve. Reflecting on these experiences is helping to build a growing framework to describe, analyse, distinguish – and also strengthen and amplify – these initiatives.
