The president of the Association Unidos em Defensa de Covas do Barroso (UDCB), Nelson Gomes, told the agency Lusa that the blockade aims to interrupt the work in one of the areas of administrative servitude and admits that it is a necessity to scale up the resistance to the lack of answers and the inflexibility of the government to listen to the demands of the population.
