The parties of the outgoing government coalition consisting of ODS, TOP 09, KDU-ČSL and STAN, together with the Pirates, submitted a proposal to convene an extraordinary meeting to address the conflict of interest of the candidate for Prime Minister Andrej Babiš. They collected nine dozen signatures for the petition, forty of which are needed to convene a meeting.
The parliamentary clubs of the outgoing government coalition KDU-ČSL, ODS, STAN and TOP 09, as well as the opposition Pirates in recent months, submitted a request to the secretariat of the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies today after noon to convene an extraordinary meeting regarding the conflict of interest of ANO Chairman Andrej Babiš. They collected nine dozen signatures for the document, 40 of which are needed to convene a meeting.
The outgoing government has a big debt in preventing conflicts of interest. The recovery of money from Agrofert has only partially moved forward, the laws remain riddled with holes. And it cannot be said that people from democratic parties always set an example in office.
